Requirement
To provide cost-effective connectivity to relatively far flung sites but utilising the metropolitan borough's own core network.
Challenges
The challenge was connecting 26 schools some distance from the POP with a part wireless solution made difficult by a geographically problematic terrain.
Solution
Five local exchanges were unbundled by Updata, in order to provide the 26 schools with over 2 and 8Mbps SHDSL connectivity. The managed network is supported by a clearly defined service level agreement.
