ADITNorth has invited Updata to list on the Adit Broadband & ICT Services Framework 2008 ( Public Sector Regeneration Support for Northern England)
Updata is pleased to receive this acknowledgement from one of the UK's most effective Framework units.

Siemens Enterprise Communications has placed an order worth in excess of £2M over 5 years to supply a managed network service to Essex County Fire and Rescue Services. The network will provide connectivity to a total of 58 Fire Stations and will also incorporate the Service’s Mobilisation Network.March 07th 2008
Dorset County Council continues to expand their use of Updata's Managed Network Service and have recently ordered the upgrade to higher speeds for 78 of its schools.
This mixture of Secondary and Primary schools will have their bandwidths doubled from 10 to 20Mbps and 2 to 4Mbps respectively.
The order is worth just under £250K over 2.5 years.

Atkins PLC signs a contract with Updata to provide communications across the County of Essex for a variety of Essex ITS Traffic Control and CCTV Systems. These systems control and monitor traffic patterns ensuring congestion is kept to a minimum.

Bedfordshire County Council demonstrates its confidence in Updata’s network by ordering the addition of the Stotfold Exchange. This will allow a further 5 schools to be connected to the network.
The Council has asked Updata to further enable all of its Bedfordshire exchanges to ADSL2+. This will facilitate home working and provide resilience to the currently connected schools.This service will be commissioned by early Autumn.

North Somerset Housing Ltd has chosen Updata UK Ltd to implement its new WAN, Server and Remote Access Infrastructures. The contract will be for one year and it is envisaged that in 2008 a further migration to a new infrastructure will follow.

Christchurch Borough Council, a new Updata customer, also demonstrates confidence in our Dorset network by connecting a number of their corporate sites back to Christchurch Civic Offices via the local exchange. The implementation will also allow Christchurch Borough Council to double its bandwidth back to Dorset County Council.
