Public sector investments in managed networks aren’t restricted to front-line services. For the most part, all Updata network deployments include the local authority’s administrative offices/sites in order to support centralised business applications and communications functions.
Updata is also spearheading new projects to incorporate private sector organisations within networks originally driven by public sector requirements. We’re actively supporting a number of local authorities that wish to pursue economic development objectives by providing or subsiding advanced, managed broadband services to qualifying local businesses.
