Compliance and Accreditation

Network security is a Public Sector Network priority, with mounting compliance requirements (including FIA, DPA and GCSx CoCo) and a growing range of e-crime threats. As networks get more complex, security and compliance requirements continue to increase. Updata recognises that clients require rigorous security management, including compliance, standards accreditation, and security-vetted personnel.

Certified to ISO:27001 (Information Security Management Systems), Updata also operates an ITIL-compliant service desk system.  All Updata engineering personnel are, as a minimum, security-vetted to Enhanced Baseline Standard (EBS) level. Where networks carry restricted data, personnel have Security Check (SC) level clearance. Many of Updata’s large network installations have already passed CoCo audits.
